It's Cold

Hello again!

So it is literally FREEZING here! As in, this morning it dipped below
32 degrees! And it's still mid-October... Well winter will be
interesting for an Arizona kid like me...

Speaking of Arizona, I heard it's still in the upper 90's-lower 100's?
Yikes! I definitely don't miss that, y'all have my sympathy.

Elder Hill had food poisoning on Wednesday. Which for me meant that I
got to sit around and read a lot, which was cool for a bit, but by the
end of the day, I was getting kinda stir-crazy so I was thankful that
Elder Bentley and Archibald switched off staying with him so I could
get out of the apartment. Thankfully, Elder Hill felt better the next
day so all was well once more.

So Lucie continues to be awesome! At the rate things are going, we are
going to teach her the final lessons this week and she will be all set
to be baptized on the 1st! I'm SUPER excited for her! The gospel has
blessed her life in so many amazing ways and I know that it will
continue to do so!

Sadly, there is no update with Ann, Elder Hill and I are going to need
to meet with her and her husband at some time in the near future
though because nothing will happen unless the two of them go together
with this. Which isn't a bad thing as the end goal is them being
sealed together for time and all eternity, which they can only do if
they are together on this.

On Friday, we had the opportunity to go through a session in the DC
temple. The DC temple is GORGEOUS and the spirit of peace there (like
in all temples) was SO powerful. It was truly a wonderful experience
and I'm excited to be able to go back each transfer! The temple truly
is the Lord's house! I love going so much!

Well, until next time, I love you all!
