Referrals, Referrals, and (Surprise) More Referrals

Hello, hello, goodbye, and hello again!

I hope you all had a fantastic week! This week, we continued to try
and contact all of the multitude of referrals that were left over from
the other missionaries while still trying to keep up on the steady
stream of referrals that we continue to get as well. So far, we've
been pretty successful in those endeavors! Fortunately, we've also
found that a good number of those people referred to us are actually
really awesome! I don't have any specific stories this time, but
hopefully, I will have a lot in the weeks to come!

On Wednesday, we had a Zone Training, which was a ton of fun! It's
always awesome to be able to see all of the missionaries in the zone
as opposed to just the few that are in my district!

Thursday was Elder Talbot's birthday! Though it was basically a normal
day, we did get to eat at the home of a super awesome family in the
Ward and have a good time there!

Saturday, we got to help set up a farewell party for a sister in the
Ward who is leaving on a mission to Puebla Mexico and we also got to
talk to a bunch of family and friends of her that were not members of
the church that had questions about what she was going to be doing for
the next 18 months. So that was really cool! The weren't too
interested past curiosity, but who knows, maybe at some point in the
future, they will have the joy of accepting the gospel and the many
blessings that come from it.

On Sunday, Ismael spoke in church and did an amazing job at it. Which
made me super happy to see how far he has come in the year and a half
since he's been baptized! He truly has been blessed by the power of
the gospel and experienced the joy that comes from coming unto Christ.

Well, that's about everything from me for now! I love you all! Have a
great week!

Sincerely,
Elder Sam Williams
