| Zone Skating Activity |
Not long after I finished sending my email last week, my zone went
ice-skating for our zone-activity. It was pretty fun! Plus, I was
actually getting to the point that I could skate somewhat well! That
is, until I took a bit of a fall resulting in my face coming into
contact with the ice... Fortunately, the only damage was that my chin
got split wide open (apparently down to the muscle. It was pretty
awesome). As a result, I had to get four stitches in my face (which I
am hopefully getting out today). The plus side of this, I'll have a
pretty awesome scar on my chin from now on!
Wednesday, Elder Carroll got a call from President Cooke letting
him know that he'd be training next transfer. He's super excited for
that. It also meant that the two of us would be split up this next
transfer and one of us would be leaving Laurel. Well, Saturday the
transfer call came and I am officially leaving Laurel! Where to? I
won't know until Wednesday. Though I'm definitely excited to see where
I end up!
We had Stake conference Saturday and Sunday. It was pretty great.
The Stake music person was in my ward so I got volunteered last-minute
to be part of the stake choir. That was fun!
So Ismael is definitely getting baptized this next Sunday! I'm super
excited for him! Hopefully I'll be able to make it back for his
baptism! He is definitely ready to take that step foreword and I know
that his baptism and confirmation will bless him in so many ways
throughout his life!
Tune in next week to hear (read) where I end up!
I love you all! Have an amazing week!
Sincerely,
Elder Sam Williams
