Rock, Paper Scissors

A few days back, we were woken up at about three in the morning to
some yelling outside our apartment window. We look outside to see two
random guys in our apartment parking lot playing rock, paper, scissors
very loudly. After about three minutes of this, they randomly stop and
go their separate ways. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you:
Maryland.

This week, we went on exchanges with Elders Hirzel and Bias. Brown
went to Hirzel and Bias came up to Talbot and I. We had a really fun
time and made a pretty good dent in our referral pool (which still
continues to be a work in progress)!

On Friday, we had interviews with President Johnson. It was really
weird because it was my last regular interview with President Johnson!
We basically spent the entire talking about the fact that I'm going
home soon and what my plans are for when I do go home, which was also
pretty weird.

Saturday morning, our mission was visited by Brent H Nielsen of the
Seventy, who is also the chair of the missionary department. It was a
pretty standard meeting, but it was good. We talked a lot about
overcoming adversity, which ended up coming up in an appointment later
that day, which was cool.

Saturday night, Christiana had her Baptismal interview and passed with
flying colors! She is so awesome and I'm super excited for her baptism
on July 2nd! I sadly won't be here to see her be confirmed, but I'm
just happy that she is going to be getting these amazing blessings in
her life!

That's about all from me for this week! I love you all! Have a fantastic week!

Sincerely,
Elder Sam Williams
