Settling in the New Year

Sadly the holidays have passed so now I'm back to having to think of
creative salutations...

As of last Tuesday, I officially hit my five month mark! Which is
crazy! It doesn't feel like it's been that long at all!

So this last Sunday, a new member moved into the Ward and with him he
brought his fiancée, Jamie, who is not currently a member but came up
to us and expressed interest in meeting with us. We met with her and
Brother Halbash (her fiancée)  on Friday and it turns out the two of
them had been reading the Book of Mormon together for the last four or
five months! Not only that, but she has already gained a testimony
that she knows it's true and wanted to get baptized before we even
taught the first lesson! So we taught her the Restoration, during
which the Spirit was SUPER powerful, and needless to say, she is now
on date to be baptized on January 31! She is super awesome and we
are excited to be able to continue working with her!

This week was in general an amazing week! On Saturday, we went to the
temple with Ashley for a mission-sponsored recent convert temple trip
so she could do baptisms for the dead. She loved it! She told us that
she felt the Spirit super powerfully while there! Also while there, I
got to see Ismael, which was also awesome! The temple was somewhat
short staffed at the time so I got to do the recording for all of the
baptisms, which was really cool!

Overall, this week was AWESOME! Hopefully this week will follow suite!
I love you all! Have a great week!

Sincerely,
Elder Sam Williams
