ICE to Meet You!

With the return of winter weather comes the return of winter puns!

One of the downsides of being in an area for 9 months is that it's
hard to think of things to write each week. Much of this week was
spent in the quest of contacting the many referrals that we have
received as a result of the holiday season. Unfortunately, we have not
had any success in this endeavor as of yet. BUT we will continue
foreword with faith that at least one of them will accept the message
of the gospel and the amazing blessings that come with it!

Other than that, we have been visiting with Scott quite a bit the last
few weeks. He is a somewhat recent convert who has yet to receive the
Melchizedek priesthood and go through the temple simply because
medical issues have kept him hospitalized/in a rehabilitation
center/home bound for most of this year. Fortunately, he seems to
finally be through it all and is excited to be able to move foreword!
His example of Faith, diligence, and positivity has truly been an
example to me!

On Friday, we had interviews with President Johnson and during it, he
told both Elder Hunt and I that he will keep us together in this area
for one more transfer if we'd like (which both of us said that we
would like that very much!). I am super excited to hopefully be here
for 11 months of my mission! I love this Ward so much and feel
privileged to be able to serve the members and all else who live here!

I love you all! Have a fantastic week and a very Merry Christmas!

Sincerely,
Elder Sam Williams

1. Lunch that Elder Hunt and I made one day (Mac and Cheese with

venison sausage). And yes, it was very delicious!
