Greetings everyone! I hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas! I know I did!
One of the highlights of this week is that on Monday during dinner,
the family we were eating with let us know that their son was moving
back in with them and that his wife, who had been taking the lessons
back where they were living previously, wanted to be baptized so we
will have the opportunity of teaching her to baptism! Which I am SUPER
excited for!
Much of the rest of the week was spent continuing the effort of
contacting all of our referrals and potential investigators. An
endeavor that was met with mixed results. We have been able to drop
off and place quite a few copies of the Book of Mormon; however, the
problem is being able to meet with these people after that. It's a
work in progress that, with Heavenly Father's guidance, will hopefully
lead to a lot of happiness and blessings for those who have the
opportunity of receiving the Gospel!
On Saturday, we had our mission Christmas Party. During which, Sister
Johnson did a Christmas program with musical performances by several
missionaries, one of whom was yours truly! I sang the same version of
O Holy Night that I did at the Elder Clark Tour a few weeks back, only
it went much smoother this time as I wasn't sick! Which is always
good! I am so very grateful for the wonderful gift that my Heavenly
Father has given to me!
Sunday was, of course, Christmas! The morning was spent at the Hales
opening presents and having breakfast! Which was tons of fun! After
that, we had our Sacrament meeting, during which I got to sing a solo!
I sang the first three verses of "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day"
then sang the last few verses with the congregation. That also went
super well! Following that, I got to skype home, which was fantastic!
Then we had dinner with the Hatch family. Which pretty much sums up
this week.
I love you all! Have a phenomenal week and a happy New Year!
Sincerely,
Elder Sam Williams

6. I don't really have words to describe this one. Sister Hale's face
sums it all up pretty well though.
