I Build a Cabinet

Greetings everyone!

This week was very similar to the last several weeks. Lots of
contacting, not very much luck with finding people, etc.

Something that was different though was that on Tuesday, I got to
build a TV stand/shelf for a member of the Ward, which ended up taking
up most of the day, but it was really fun! And no, it hasn't fallen
apart... yet...

But in all seriousness, we had another amazing appointment with Larry
this last Saturday. We read from Mosiah 5 with him and talked more
about the background and history of the Book of Mormon, which he
really liked. We are also going to remind him to read every day now so
hopefully, he will be able to do that and move forward in the gospel
because I know that it really can bless his life and that he already
is starting to have a testimony of it, he just needs to act on it! He
did ask us why people weren't willing to accept the Book of Mormon as
scripture though because to him, it made perfect sense why we would
need it and that he is very happy to have more scripture and more of
God's word in his life. So that's cool!

Why I Believe was last night. That was pretty good. The speakers were
the new couple running the Visitors Center (the Ferrins). But more
importantly, it means I actually have pictures this week!

Earlier today, we had our district activity (pictures also included).
We played basketball, had pizza, and watched the movie Ephraim's
Rescue (which was a pretty good movie). Overall, a good time was had
by all!

Transfers are this week. Talbot and I should be staying together here
so, thankfully, not much will change in that regard! I love you all!
Have a fantastic week!

Sincerely,
Elder Sam Williams
