In case any of you were wondering, getting pepper sprayed, even in the
most indirect way possible, is not a fun experience...
"How do I know this" You ask? Well, last Monday we had Zone activity.
The first part of it was ice skating (to which my roommates and I
didn't go). After that, we met up at a church building for board
games. While there, one of the sister missionaries thought it would be
a good idea to test out the container of pepper spray that they had
acquired by spraying a small amount into the air. Within minutes,
everyone in the room (myself included) was coughing up a lung and had
to evacuate the premises. Everyone was okay, I just feel bad for the
people who had asthma and had to endure that...
Other than that, this was a pretty good week! We are continuing to
work with Jaelyn (Jaymie's daughter) to try and help her feel the
Spirit and recognize the blessings of the gospel in her and her mom's
life as well as trying to strengthen the faith of those we come in
contact with. The church is true! The gospel truly does change lives!
Today was Elder Sorensen's 100 day left mark, he got a package from
his family with a bunch of items that equal 100 in number. Along with
these nifty masks that I'm including a picture of. That was pretty
fun.
I love you all! Have a great week!
Sincerely,
Elder Sam Williams
