Greetings everyone!
Halloween was this last Monday. After 6:00 if we didn't have some
reason to be out of the apartment, then we weren't allowed out.
Fortunately, during that time, Elder Hunt and I were able to go give a
blessing to a member in the Ward, which ended up turning into a full
visit, which was pretty sweet!
On Wednesday, we went on exchanges with our roommates and I took Elder
Rutter into my area for the day, which was super fun! Rutter had
served in the same Ward as Ashley's Grandma, so we ended up visiting
with her for a chunk of the day, seeing how she was doing and she took
us out to lunch, which was pretty sweet! Other than that, we had a
pretty full day with lots of awesome appointments (mostly with
members, but beggars can't be choosers)! Overall, it was a pretty
great exchange!
Thursday, we were able to get over to the Chamberlains and while
there, set up a time t go over for dinner next week! Hopefully then,
we can talk to Bryan about teaching the boys the discussions, which
would be AWESOME! We also finished teaching the Groves the new member
discussions and are now waiting for them to be able to get up to the
temple to perform baptisms for the dead (which they are both excited
for!).
Friday and Saturday, Elder Hirzel was super sick, so we spent a chunk
of those days going on mini-exchanges with Rutter in order to keep him
from going insane. Friday, we visited with Jaelyn, who continues to be
hilarious, yet a handful at the same time and Saturday evening, we
went over to the Hale's for dinner, which was awesome as always (I use
the word awesome a lot in association with this area, I must like it
or something!)
Unfortunately, the Hydes ended up canceling on us yesterday, which
wasn't quite as awesome, but we will reschedule with them and get back
on track before too long!
And that there was more or less my week! I love you all! Have a fantastic week!
Sincerely,
Elder Sam Williams
