Crashing into February

Welcome back to another week in the life of Elder Williams!

The new transfer officially started on Wednesday!  All of the Elders
in White Plains are still here! I'm excited, this should be a great
transfer! It'll be yet another seven week one in order to accommodate
the change in the MTC schedule (starting in March, people speaking
their native language are going back to spending three weeks there
rather than just the ten days (it also means that everyone's mission
got extended by a week, which is fun)).

And what better way to start an amazing transfer off than with a car
accident? Thursday, right after zone-district meeting, we got
rear-ended, TWICE! No worries though, Elder Sorensen and I, as well as
the guys that hit us (also missionaries), are all okay! However, it
does mean that we had to get a "new" car and do a bunch of
paperwork/insurance stuff. Though hopefully, that's all that comes as
a result of that!

Friday was officially my six month mark! It's crazy that it's been
that long already because it definitely doesn't feel like it has been
that long at all! "Even better", I am now officially exempt from all
"greenie jokes"! It also meant that I got to burn a tie (photos
included)!

The biggest thing that happened this week is that Jaymie got
confirmed! The Spirit was super powerful! I feel so privileged to be
able to witness how much the gospel has blessed her life and will
continue to bless it! We are also gearing up for Jaelyn to be baptized
this upcoming Sunday, which should also be awesome!

That's about all for this week! Today for P-day, we went up to DC and
I chilled with Summit and Talbot while Sorensen and another missionary
went to visit a member of a Ward they both served in. So here's some
pictures from that. We went to the top of the Washington monument,
went to the World War 2 and Lincoln memorials, and ate lunch at and
went through some of the American History Museum.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!
