The Snowy Postlude to Valentine's

Happy (late) Valentines/singles awareness/not for missionaries Day!

As I write this, I am once again stuck inside my apartment due to a
snow storm! Though later on today, all hail is supposed to break loose
(as it is supposed to start hailing) and then by tomorrow, it'll be
just really cold rain. We'll see how that affects our ability to
travel but so far, it sounds like we'll probably be snowed-in tough
tomorrow.

On Wednesday, Elder Sorensen and I went to the Hale's for dinner and
while there, we got to hold and feed their newborn baby goats! (They
own a small farm with some chickens, turkeys, and goats). It was
pretty awesome! Plus, next time we go over there, we get to help milk
the mama goats, which will be a new, yet fun experience! Don't worry,
pictures of the baby goats are included!

We've been meeting with Jaelyn (Jaymie's daughter) a few times this
last week for what was hopefully going to be her baptism yesterday.
Unfortunately though, Jaymie's parents (whom they are living with
until she gets married and moves in with Kyle in April) are opposed to
the church and talked Jaelyn out of being baptized for the time
being... Though hopefully as we continue teachi her and her mother,
the Spirit will help her realize the importance of baptism and lead
her to follow her mom's example because I've seen Jaymie's life
blessed SO MUCH by the gospel!

I know the church is true and the the gospel truly does bless and
change lives! I know that this is where I'm supposed to be right now
and I'm glad I have the opportunity to serve out here!

I love you all! Have an amazingly fantastic week!

Sincerely,
Elder Sam Williams
