Arling-Tons of Fun!

When email comes to town, it's like a rainstorm in your browser! (Mad
props to anyone who gets the reference)

This week was definitely a week, that's for sure! There were even
seven days in it!

The first of these seven days (Monday) Elder Talbot and I got to go to
Arlington National Cemetery with all of the other missionaries going
home in the next 6 months. It was pretty awesome! Things are winding
down for me, which is super crazy because it does not at all feel like
it's been almost two years already! (Though I did get a good number of
pictures at Arlington for y'all's viewing pleasure)

Friday, we taught Christiana again and were able to teach her about
the Word of Wisdom and the Law of Chastity. She was a little
apprehensive about the whole "no tea" thing, but she realized that if
it is God's will, then she should do it. So hopefully she will
continue to do amazingly and see how her life is blessed by obeying
the commandments of God!

Saturday, while we were at a member's house, the member had us take a
picture to send to her daughter who is serving in Mexico (since she
told her daughter that we were in a trio and the daughter wanted to
know who was there). She also sent me the picture, which is herein
attached!

On a Sunday, Omosayin got confirmed a member of the church! Which is
awesome! He later told us that that was probably the best day of his
life! The Lord truly has helped him to see the truth and helped him
pursue that truth!

Later that day, we were able to visit with Melanie again and teach her
the Plan of Salvation. Her friend was there as well, and she didn't
take anything we said seriously at all and was being pretty rude most
of the time. Eventually it got to the point that Melanie actually told
her friend to stop being disrespectful or to just  leave, so Melanie
was definitely feeling the Spirit and is very interested. She is super
awesome and very excited about the fact that she will be able to live
with her family forever and help her ancestors receive the ordinances
of the gospel as well!

That's about all from me this week! I love you all! Have a fantastic
week and a great Memorial Day!

Sincerely,
Elder Sam Williams
